Mounting the Micro
We get a lot of questions about what type of mounting solutions are 
available/ appropriate for customers who purchase Aimpoint sights. As you know, there are a ton of aftermarket options. We don't have room to provide info on all of them, so we'll focus on a few... This article specifically addresses the Micro series of sights (T-1, H-1, and R-1).
These popular sights come with an integral mount that will allow the sight to be fixed to a Picatinny or Weaver rail with an Allen wrench screw. It is an 11mm height base, which is best suited for mounting to a shotgun rail or a mount designed to provide a backup sight to a magnified optic (like the TNVC S.A.R.). If you want to mount this sight onto an AR-style weapon, you must purchase a mount that will raise the optical sight path to the height of the iron sights.
If you would like to have the ability to move your sight from platform to platform without the use of tools you can purchase a Micro LRP Mount Kit (Part #12184). It has an adjustable throw lever that replaces the allen screw on the original base. It offers a relatively inexpensive alternative to some more expensive mounts from other manufacturers. Be on the lookout, as Aimpoint should soon be releasing their very robust, slim version of the LRP mount that is currently only available for their larger s ights.
Another option is the Larue Tactical LT660 tall mount (Part# 11465). 
Like the Micro Spacer High, this mount puts the sight at the proper height for use with most AR style rifles. The entire mount is one-piece, and it comes complete with screws and thread sealer. The LT660 is a bit more expensive than most other mounts, but it’s currently the most common choice among professionals.
Aimpoint offers the Micro Spacer High (Part #12358) that raises the optical axis to 39mm (co-witness height with iron sights). It comes with four new torx screws, a Micro Tool and thread sealer. If you have an AR-style weapon that already has a higher top rail (like the HK 416) you can purchase a Micro Spacer Low (Part #12357) that will give you the right co-witness height. It also comes with the torx screws, Micro Tool and thread sealer. Both of these spacers will be used in combination with the original base that comes with your Micro. This base requires a tool (allen wrench) to mount or remove it from your rail.
