Artillery Compass
Designed with performance and reliability as its main features, the Francis Barker Artillery Compass comprises a non-magnetic aluminum alloy body, 115mm in diameter, which houses a Duralumin® ring, laser divided into 10 mil divisions.
The 85mm dial makes the instrument very easy to read when viewed through the prism allowing for readings of better than 5 mils (15 minutes) thereby offering the precision required on today’s modern battlefield for artillery and gunnery set ups.
The compass can be supplied in liquid damped or dry suspension configurations and in a variety of finished to the customers specification.
Fitted with a threaded boss enabling use witha tripod, the compass comes complete with a sturdy sling carrying case.
The compass is fully repairable to component level and can be supplied in a variety of scale graduations and with a range of prismatic fibers.
